SHAMELESSLY STOLEN FROM MAYFIELD

All characters have been severely Flanderized.

Basically, imagine that their canon has gone on for another 14 seasons, and the writers need to keep exaggerating what makes them memorable with each progressive season, to the point that they're just a pile of comically exaggerated gimmicks and neuroses.

For example:

Character A in canon: Has a mild crush on Character B, but never acts on it.
Character B in canon: Would probably like to reciprocate Character A's love, but is held back by complex family issues.

A normal conversation between A and B:

Character A: H-Hello.
Character B: Ah, hi.

A FLANDERIZED conversation between A and B:

Character A: OH, CHARACTER B! OUR FORBIDDEN LOVE CAN BE WITHELD NO LONGER! COME, LET US KISS WITH TONGUES!
Character B: WAIT, CHARACTER A! I CANNOT LOVE YOU UNLESS YOU FIRST KILL MY FATHER! HIS INJUSTICE WILL BE THE DEATH OF US ALL!
