Soma's views on justice have definitely started to change ever since he found out he was Dracula's reincarnation. Originally he was more in the "black and white" camp - dark is bad, light is good, etc, etc.
But now that he has these powers, he's more in the mindset, in trope terms, Dark Is Not Evil and Light Is Not Good. He knows that it's more about how people react to certain situations and what they do with what they've been presented with that determines what's actually "right or wrong". He's starting to become more open-minded of everything around him, but he's still struggling with changing that mindset, considering he's had the original one in his head for so long.
