[somewhat panicked, scratch that, very panicked wheatley for you here (with his dulcet English West country accent tones)]
Ducks, is it? Okay, Ducks, how about we play a game of hypothetical situations where the one telling the story definitely isn't the one all of this is happening to. At all. Never ever.
Let's say you work in a place where you watch over humans kept in medically induced sleep until they're needed for testing and one day, the entire system shut down without any of your bloody coworkers telling you! Now you're stuck with humans that could be very dead--but they aren't because you've got a great cover story in case someone asks!--or very not suitable for testing.
What's the best way to go about telling the ones that aren't very dead that there's a teeny tiny chance they have brain damage in a nice way? Granted that their minds aren't mush and they are still capable of speech. I know some humans like bad news-good news or good news-bad news.... And good news with brain damage might be hard to come by, but you know optimism and--and looking on the bright side and finding the silver lining! There has...to be at least...one.
[a beat:] Did I mention this was all hypothetical and in no way happening as we speak? Although quick advice would be best.
