“But brown is a noble color. Much like my horse.” Faramir holds up the wooden, stick like pony that he had brought to play with him. Real or not, it was probably the best toy in the entire kindergarten class. Roze was hoping she'd get a chance to ride it.

But for now, there was a piece of paper spread before them, the crayons on the floor. Pink and brown lay in the middle as the two considered them seriously. “The horse can have a pink seat.”

“That's a good idea but it's a saddle.”

“Then a pink saddle!”

“It is a fair deal!”

“But I do have my sanity, the ring will cause destruction for us all!”

“I believe you.” The two sat together in the white room. The former still wanted out, he had an army to command. Or at least, that's what he claimed. The doctors said different, that he needed to put himself in such a role to feel important. He couldn't tell fantasy from reality.

But the latter had resigned herself. They didn't believe her stories either, about the boys that could clap to make alchemy, about the monsters with claw like fingers and mouths that could eat anything. She had a good imagination but she too didn't know when to end it.

“My men need me. I cannot resign myself to living in this world.”

“The real world.” That's what they called it, like theirs didn't exist. Maybe it didn't. The medicine and all the long talks made it easy to doubt.

Fairy Tale

The mirror showed a girl in a cloak, only her pink bangs visible. She was making her way through a dark forest, worried about the howling of the wolves.

“Yes, yes, that can be our girl!” the clock decided with enthusiasm.

The beast held the mirror in his head, watching, thinking. The curse had to be broken, he just had to give the command. All of those who wanted so badly to become human again gathered around, eagerly awaiting the order to bring her to the castle.

“You may ask her if she would like a visit. Tis not my place to command.” They all sighed. So much for the horrible “beast”.

1. Arranged marriage
How would he be? Roze couldn't stop thinking about finally meeting his fiance. Would he be a business man? A brave cop? An intelligent professor?
Many scenarios ran through her mind, but she was definitely not ready for the shirtless mechanic with grease all over his long hair who burped a "hello, missy!".

2. Rockband
The girl looked shy and nervous, Duo wasn't sure if she could deal with stage fright. But the minute she opend her mouth and sang, he decided he and his guitar would make anything possible to make her feel comfortable.

3. Pirates
"Nothin' 'gainst ya, princess." Duo said while he tied the piece of cloth around Roze's mouth. "But if yer father doesn't get me my lady back..." Roze took a minute to understand he meant his boat. "...then I ain't givin' 'im his either."

4. Supernatural
With her arms stretched, Roze put herself between his boyfriend's body and the strange guy in front of her. Shinigami, he had said, but Roze wasn't ready to accept the truth yet.
"You're not taking him! He's still there!"
"No, the only thing there is the remains of the priest's alchemy. Please, lady, don't make my job harder than it is."
"YOU'RE NOT TAKING HIM AWAY FROM ME!"
Taking souls has always been a sad job, but this time Duo was feeling worse for putting the girl to sleep like that.

5. Superpowers
Roze closed her eyes and concentrated. After some seconds... bam! Her hair was blue, and the pink bangs were now yellow.
It took a couple of minutes for Duo to close his mouth and finaly speak. "Y'know, that actually explains a lot."
