"To your left!"

Moonlight whirled, unleashing a torrent of energy as the tricky monster of the week literally teleported out of the way. She braced herself as a storm of explosive feathers rocked her position, but a pair of Riders interposed themselves between herself and the attacker. Akiyama was right: I should start punching behind myself when I see feathers.

The pair had come to Ryuki World in order to help out Akiyama with his problems, and subsequently got entangled into the Rider War. And when Odin had come out of hiding, none of them wanted to be victim to the Time Vent, which would potentially result in losing all of their memories when the goddamn thing went off. DiEnd ducked and rolled, coming up and firing repeatedly.

Said golden phoenix Rider teleported and DiEnd aimed his gun behind himself, firing. Shots crashed into Odin as he was knocked back. "I knew that pattern was going to pay off sooner or later."

Moonlight spared a moment to glare at the blue Rider as she announced her attack, firing a silver flower bud at the Rider who took it full on, but moments before he did so, he fired a storm of explosive feathers. Silent, deadly, and ultimately easy to deal with when DiEnd fired a Blast into his back.

Outnumbered by two unfamiliar opponents, the homeless man turned Rider vanished, escaping into the mirror. DiEnd breathed a sigh of relief as Odin vanished and he shook his head. "We got him, barely."

"He still survived." replied Moonlight tersely. "Which means he will be back to menace Akiyama and Kido."

"They'll deal with him when the time is right." Replied DiEnd as he reached for another card. "We should get going, before we attract anything--DOWN!"

Moonlight found herself being shoved to the side as DiEnd made a urking noise. "Kaitou!" she shouted, and gasped as a spear was protruding through his shoulder. It had gone through Rider armor. A Mirror Monster stood there, the spear protruding through the wall. Clearly, it had been lurking there and it took advantage of the situation.

Rage filled Moonlight as she blasted out the window, but the enemy scurried to another, sending several more spears at the pair as one of them remained in Kaitou's shoulder. Smashing up as many mirrors as possible, she forced the Monster out of the window as it snarled angrily.

"Silver Forte Wave!" The energy blast crashed into the monster but it barely stumbled. "Run," said Moonlight, reaching down to grab Kaitou.

"Can't, hurts too bad," grit out DiEnd. Holding out his DiendDriver and a card, he said, "Use it. Been saving it for a while."

"But... you'll..."

Even through the helmet, he smirked. "This won't kill me. Just hurt a lot."

With the monster advancing on them, Moonlight sighed and took the card and the DiendDriver. As it slipped from his hand, the armor faded in an instant, the connection broken. Kaitou yelled in pain as blood gushed from the wound.

Moonlight glared at the monster. No mercy this time. Locking the card in, she cocked it and raised the gun over her head.

announced the DiendDriver with gusto.

In an instant, a legion of Precure were summoned as Moonlight nodded at her companions. The monster balked at the sight of the multicolored mini army as every started a route that was very much familiar. The Monster had two seconds to realize it was going to be overkilled as a rainbow of energy ripped it apart.

Panting a little, Moonlight lowered her arm as the summoned Precure vanished, and she dropped down next to Kaitou as magic washed across the world. Shattered glass repaired itself and the wound in Kaitou's shoulder closed up in an instant. "Ow," groaned Kaitou. "What was that?"

Moonlight looked up at the last Precure, who winked. She was a pink, with blonde hair in curls as she vanished with her friends. "A little something extra."

"I see."

An awkward silence permiated the plaza as Kaitou tried to sit up and winced a little, some of the pain lingering. "I guess... thanks and all I..."

"Shut up." And Moonlight's lips connected with his for a long moment. And when they broke, she whispered, "You scared me. Don't do that."

He smirked a little. "I'll try to keep from scaring you from now on."

"Do that. Or you'll never see a home run."

Kaitou puzzled the statement over, bewildered as Moonlight dropped him to the ground unceremoniously and walked away with his DiendDriver. "H-hey! Moonlight, c'mon!"
