milkandcreme: ([Happy] I'm Malon!)

Malon never thought she would ever encounter what it meant to be like being "on the Web", or so some of her friends called it. Sure, she seemed a little confused at first, but once someone actually brought her to their world (namely Sena, since she wanted to be on good terms with Malon), they had exposed her to the wonders of the internet. And with said exposure, Malon was happily scrolling through various websites before encountering one that had caught her attention.

"Youtube...? What kind of site is this?"

Sure, it took her a while, but she was squinting hard at what this site was. Well, maybe a few little clicks wouldn't hurt to try out, wouldn't it? But what to click on, what to click on...

Soon enough, she finally found one that seemed to catch her interest. It was what was called...a music video? She blinked a bit, reading the name of it out loud. With a shrug, however, she actually took the dive in and...

Oh god what in the world did she actually just hear right now. It...didn't even sound like anything she had previously experience as far as "music" would go. Back in her world, they would use various string and wind instruments, having the percussion back them up as they put together a nice little melody that would make her happy as she would sing along. Yeah, she could get by something like that. This? It sounded as though whoever was...would she even call it singing? No, it was more like they were merely jumbling their words together and making...odd sounds...and it didn't seem to please her at all. In fact, she has this sort of disgruntled look on her face once she's done with it all. Maybe...she could try...something else...

But nope, everything else she clicked on seemed to be this garbled mash of words that she didn't like at all. Okay, now it's time to return to the home page and...wait...there was more of these "music video" things. With a little sigh, she figured she would try another one out to see how it would turn out.

...and lo and behold, it was something much softer than what she was had heard before. In fact, she would say that the melody would be something she could get by actually listening to, since it wasn't all...jumbled together- no, it actually had some sort of backing percussion, string, and...well, there wasn't any wind instruments- she heard a piano, though, and the female vocalist definitely caught her attention as she found herself humming along to it. Yeah...this was something she could get by.

And soon enough, she found herself scouring all the music she could find, hearing folk songs that soothed her, rock songs she could find herself bopping her head too, pop songs she found herself strangely entranced by, and the rap...well, let's just say she tried to steer her way clear of those. Either way, She seems totally amused by this "Youtube" thing, and eventually found herself running up to Sena, patting her on the shoulder.

"Hey! Show me some good music videos next time- I want to see if I can learn them and sing them for you, okay?" Yeah, that sounded like a plan to her.
