Stanley isn't the sharpest knife in the armoury. Kefka can keep him in the dark about the really dark stuff (even unintentionally), Stanley won't know better. I mean, he's been living in Troll Kingdom for most of his life, and the Bad Trolls don't bother with subtlety or deception.

On the bright side, he can turn the World of Ruin into the World of Flowers!... at least for the area around him. Lower limit of his Green Thumb's range is New York City.
