I know Setsuna needs more friends-but how about a sudden betrayal? Or in other words, Mir is still looking for fools and patsies to release her from her prison, and she's got Setsuna penciled in.

I'm definitely all for that! While Setsuna isn't exactly dumb, she is a little overeager to help others right now which makes her more trusting, so she'll definitely be fooled. And it'll be interesting to have her on the other side of betrayal this time!

To be fair, Mir isn't exactly subtle normally in her desire to kill all humans, and there is someone guarding Mir who really doesn't want you to let her out and is willing to talk it over with you. Better than average odds that Tastiella will warn Setsuna off before she even reaches the sanctum of the Crescent Chronicle-in fact, that's what's about to happen with Kefka, though he may not listen and if he does spring Mir right now, well Canon has clearly jumped the shark before the first major boss battle of the first game of the series.

In which case, someone will have to fight Mir, and it turns out she's a big marshmellow when it comes to physical combat so Setsuna should have no problem handling her. She was once almost killed by a Pom of all things according to suplamental materials.

Odds are that, considering Setsuna's um... special circumstances, she'll still be willing to give Mir a chance even when she starts finding out stuff. Because hey, she used to be evil herself, so... yeah. Love's optimism has kinda rubbed off on her. XD

Not that she'll back down from a fight if necessary, of course, but she'll try her best to avoid it!

Oh sure, Setsuna might be more willing to forgive Mir than Mir herself-but I mean, come on, what are the odds that she'll be able to arm herself with an argument that Mir will actually listen to?

...just go to the Silver Horn and get EXEC_Harmonious, and we can skip ahead a whole year. You may need Siren/Ellen to sing it though.

Good to know! Mir is the very definition of a glass cannon, so one good hit should knock her down in most fights when she's corporeal. If she doesn't have a body though...ugh, getting her to stop is really hard. She just makes monster after monster.

My favorite kind of shenanigans~! I'm getting the feeling that Henry and Kefka are going to be great (if horribly terrifying to everyone sane) friends. XD

I have the same feeling xD They have the same vivacity, the same love of murder and mayhem, the same goofy laugh! Or at least similar goofy laughs! And Kefka's going LET ME SHOW YOU THE WOOOORLD, or at least the power of meta at Henry!

What sort of stuff do you want to do with Henry? Kefka's the type who likes meddling, and he's softened enough that he's up for being actually helpful rather than just helping murder things! Though he can still do that ;D

Yesss, they will be amazing together. Henry will probably latch onto Kefka a little since he never meets anyone like him and omg here's someone who ~UNDERSTANDS~, haha.

For the moment Henry's not doing much of anything, since canonwise he's waaaaaay before he shows up in the game. He doesn't even get into any major battles once a war finally breaks out, the poor guy. So mostly he's going to go around the community, bug people and experiment with magic. And zombies. And with magic on zombies.

They can destroy all the things. All of them! And work on spellcraft and learn all the things! All of them!

Poor guy, all that violence and nothing to throw it at! Does he need some (more) trouble to get into?

It is the greatest tragedy of the game. The poor guy just wants to fight, is that so much to ask? So yes, definitely, he needs all of the trouble.

What plots do you have him involved with so far, if any? Kefka just signed up to help fight a monster invasion (because he's bored, to curry favors and because he wants to keep his community friends alive, no he's not being helpful shut up) and Henry could have fun with that!

I'm totally for tossing Henry into the monster invasion, because... let's face it, he will take any excuse to blast tons of enemies with magic. It's what he does best.

No other plans outside of that ~~yet~~, but he has only been in the game for ten days, so that's not surprising. XD

Well, I myself have been in the game for ~~about a year~~ edit: longer than a year, wtf... (I still can't believe that, actually... time, what the hell?), but Henry's a cute little newbie still. :P
