(no subject)

I can't remember if I asked that before...it's been a long time anyway

WHAT MAKES YOUR CHAR TEAR UP/CRY/HAVE A BREAKDOWN?

His friends getting killed, her papa tried to kill them, Paris Hilton....? Inquisitive minds want to know~

I definitely remember this being asked before...

Issei tends to cry more often at his friends being hurt than at anything directed at himself. He still will cry if the trauma is bad enough, but he's more free with it if he's crying for another's sake. He also cries much more often when the stress keeps building up.

...he also will tear up at incredibly sappy moments, in real life or otherwise, but shh, that's a secret.

Maraich has a lot.

Getting ignored, being rejected, being molested, if anything ever happened to his kids, being alone...

Ggio tends to breakdown/cry when he's backed up into a physical/mental corner, these days when his situation is rubbed in his face or when he's reminded of less-than-pleasant incidents.

Mashiro will throw a fuss over little things, but for serious breakdowns only when she has to deal with her Hollow for extended periods of time, or the rare event that someone precious to her is threatened.

Mukuro's soul is as barren as the Sahara, he does not cry, he does not break down. The last time he had an incident was when he fought Tsuna; it probably won't happen again.

Jorgen:
Watching his soap opera, All my Biceps.
Only in private of course ~

However, he doesn't break downs.

Crocker:
When his F's don't have any reaction on the target.
Losing floating babies.
Loses someone he cares about.

13 nervous breakdowns looking for Fairy World. :|

And I might to the others later >.>

... being a shadow. :|

[identity profile] stfu-yukatan.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
A lot of trauma like shadowplot, right?

[identity profile] crackpotcrocker.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
It's a spoof of All My Children.

Despite what it may sound like, it's not about muscles.
It's Fairies acting, in Fairy Wood. There are too many 'walls' in that show >.>

I also forgot for Jorgen; gooey love songs. *is shot* But it's true.

Oh he's just a big baby. |D When it's not serious then it's silly stuff like "Cake is totally real food!" or "But I don't wanna take a bath!" or "I want sex NOW!" etc, etc.

Copypasting my response from the last time we did this one, because mobile posting = laziness.

Renji doesn't cry. Not even when he begged Ichigo to save Rukia during the Soul Society arc. He's just not that type of guy. He gets sad, sure, but the only thing that would make him shed actual tears would be if something happened to Rukia. Even then, he's more likely to rage and self-destruct. If he did cry, he wouldn't want anyone to see it.

Becca's not really much for crying either. She's made of sterner stuff than that. Even after everything she sees, and despite being the youngest member of S.T.A.R.S., she only sheds tears twice in the games. Once when Chris told her that Richard had died, and again in Umbrella Chronicles, when they're rescued.

Since she joined DDD, she's cried a few times. She cried when she found out Wesker was alive, when they thought Jill was dead, when Vergil threw her out after he got his memories back, and during the what if virus when Dante told her that Wesker never released Uroboros and the last six weeks of her life were a lie. And I'm sure she shed a few tears in the shower after the virus where she thought she was in a relationship with Wesker and Dante. Mostly, she cries when she's sad or frustrated or things are just too overwhelming.

Tyki - A fellow Noah getting killed. That's canon! None of the Noah knew what to do when they suddenly started crying upon Skin's death.

Akihiko - A friend dying (also canon. Sob, Shinji). He yells and punches things more than crying, but he does cry, too.

Shito - I'm not sure what would make him cry. Possibly nothing. He has a breakdown when he finally comes to feel protective/care about someone, and they are killed. He has lesser breakdowns upon being abused/raped by Toho.

Dr. Stein - I'm not sure he cries, either. But he can have a breakdown when going crazy, lol. The madness wave gives him a major nervous breakdown, and he's completely catatonic.

Tseng - The death of a close friend would make him cry, BUT HE WOULD NEVER LET ANYONE SEE

Gale - He doesn't comprehend sadness :|

I definitely remember this~ I shall merely link to my old comment and then do Junpei because he's new. :>

Ten, Pearls, Alle, Arthur, and Lylefais are here~ (http://community.livejournal.com/adddictions/95708.html?thread=23194844#t23194844)

Now, Junpei: I've only just picked him up so I'm still getting a feel for him, but continuing my long and upstanding tradition of playing derpy/dorky woobies... well, actually, Junpei doesn't cry all that much. THAT BEING SAID, he'll blub like a baby when he's really badly OMGHELPME terrified out of his wits (I mean come on, Akihiko found him crying in a convenience store the first time he experienced the Dark Hour). Aside from that though, usually when he's pissed off or upset Junpei just gets really pissy or ragey depending on the situation. He'll go slightly woobie when something bad happens, but the only time he'll ever really break down and start crying properly that we've seen is when someone he cares about dies. ):

... oh and apparently in Persona 3 FES, if you get the story path where you can revive Chidori he cries tears of apparent happiness, but I think that was more an overload of emotion more than anything else. ): Poor guy.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaw poor Ggio!

Mega Man: I'm...not exactly sure if he can cry, without special fluids or something being replaced constantly. If he could it would be over the normal things like any young boy would, probably a bit more often actually. However physically harming you is more likely going to earn you a retort and a buster shot or something, then any tears.

He's a huge pillar of strength, but anything regarded to harming or hurting his family, and succeeding in that endeavor, will probally cause him to break down.

Batou: When members of Section 9 are seriously threatened or injured, whether it's the Major, the Rookie, or the Tachikoma, he looses it a little. Certain abuses of innocents can also cause him to loose control, though usually not too badly (see: S1 ep.10 or S2 ep.18).

Gesicht: [SPOILER]

Robert: Being left alone.

Vimes: Vimes does not have breakdowns. He has Crowning Moments of Awesome. ...Well, okay, the injustices of the world turned him into an alcoholic for years and he had a breakdown in Men at Arms when he was taken off a case and being stuck in the past almost caused him to have a breakdown until he got proof that the future still existed. BUT GENERALLY SPEAKING, Vimes does not have breakdowns.

Rose: She would tear up and sometimes cry at the death of someone she cared about. The girl has a firm grip on her emotions so it only happens when she's alone.

Hector: He cries when someone he loves is murdered and then pretty much gets violent shortly after that.

Priss: idk, she is most likely going to punch someone's lights out before she'll cry. :/

That gif is dancing in tune to a rock opera that's playing on itunes and I can't stop laughinggggg

Editing/copying from last time:

Tamaki will cry TEARS OF DRAMA at any point they're necessary, but surprisingly you've never actually seen him cry for a serious occasion. I could imagine him crying if like... someone close to him died or was seriously injured, but he doesn't cry seriously that often.

Itsuki will cry when he's at the VERY END OF HIS ROPE, but not before. He's really good at repressing when he's upset.

Rise cries at sad movies. And happy movies. And when she's worried. And when she's mad. And when she's upset. She turns on the fucking waterworks okay :| She's very good at crocodile tears, but she also just naturally shows her emotions on her sleeve.

Surprisingly, it actually takes a lot to make Nena cry. You only ever see her cry in canon when her brothers die, and even then it's more ABSOLUTE SHOCK + TEARS than bawling. She's totally fine with turning on crocodile tears to get her way, but she honestly barely ever cries at all.

Mileina makes it through death-defying piloting stunts, heated battles, and god knows what else very well. The only time you see her so much as tear up in canon is when a fellow operator turns on the crew and puts a gun to her head to hold her hostage. Honestly, even then, I think most of it was SOMEONE I LIKE AND TRUST HAS TURNED ON US AND NOW EVERYONE'S FIGHTING ;A;!!!!!! rather than being in danger.

Sheryl, like Itsuki, only cries when she's at the very end of her rope, only in her case it's because her SHEER FORCE OF WILL!!!!! carries her through the rest of the time.

... sob I actually tried to highlight the space after [SPOILER] to see if you had put it in white text.
