Zechs still doesn't like Grimmjow, but he also feels like he owes him a great debt. After all, Grimmy convinced Tyki to get over himself and come back when he had cold feet before the wedding. They'll probably never get along - and Zechs doesn't like it at all when Grimmjow tries to push his boundries - but he accepts his place in Tyki's life. And, he'd trust just barely enough to watch their backs if necessary.

Zechs doesn't know much about Naoto still, but amazingly enough, respects her highly already. This is largely due to the fact that she's close friends with Hakuba and Tyki, and that she worked so tirelessly during the Shadow event. In their future interactions, he'll treat her with a great deal of respect, and be willing to help out or lend aid if she is in need of assistance. At the same time, however, he's also very wary of her. She's a stranger, and yet she knows a lot of his secrets. Things many people take months and months to get out of him. This makes her slightly untrustworthy in his eyes, though - he's a tad sexist - she gets a slight free pass because she's a young girl. He'll never, ever, ever admit that.


Shinjiro thinks Naoto's a good kid, and someone he'd worry about if they get in trouble. Despite her younger age, he almost sees them as the same age, but will now and again feel protective of her all the same. Mostly, though, he's a little wary, because she's a bit too smart for her own good, in his view. He deals with his problems himself, and no matter how-well-meaning she is, he doesn't want her to get involved. Also, he still feels he owes a debt to her for the cell phone.

Zechs: Blame what little Naoto knows about you on your husbando~ Oh, and your Shadow. But in all honesty, Naoto doesn't know many specifics about him. Just general things. Also, she thinks it's pretty kick-ass that he's a fucking Gundam pilot, but... she can't really fanboy around him because she knows it's a touchy subject with him.

Shinjiro: So very tsundere, dude. But he and Aki are cute together (take that however you want it). She knows he's got his pride, so she tries not to step on that by being too generous, but Naoto was raised to be very well mannered, so it's a hard habit to break. And... I thought he would have paid off his debt by now? She'll assume his assistance during Shadow Plot is payment enough, thank you very much.

Let's cut through all the bullshit. Zechs likes Rufus. Oh, yes, he thinks he's an asshole; he thinks he's an arrogant prick; and three out of five times he wants to strangle the man. But he still likes Rufus a lot, and more than that he actually respects him. To a certain extent he trusts Rufus as well. In a sad way, Rufus is actually one of Zechs' closest friends, which actually worries Zechs a bit. The reason he only trusts his boss "to a certain extent" is because he's still afraid of being manipulated or played for a fool. Something which, Zechs is certain, Rufus is quite capable of. Word of a warning, though; Zechs tends to be the nastiest to people who betray his trust, and if Rufus ever does backstab him, Zechs will be quite unmerciful in his revenge. >.>;;;;

Zechs considers Kasumi very special, because she's (somehow, despite all odds) honestly a very innocent and kind person. As a side effect of that, he'll go out of his way to protect her; but he'll also be the least honest with her about his past. Kasumi's earned a great deal of trust, and he worries for her quite a bit on the community, given what it can do to people ^^:;
