Abel is odd. Gesicht knows cops who goof around, but no one who is quite as silly as Abel. At the same time, from what he gathers about Abel's job and his world, Gesicht is pretty sure the goofiness is at least partially, and perhaps entirely, an act. Which is one of those human things he just doesn't get. Still, Abel seems to be a good guy, and he's fairly pleasant company.

Gesicht missed the shadow stuff, so the Crusnik thing remains a possibility he is considering.
