Rena is so nice and sweet and adorable! Karen likes her a lot. Not that way. But she does find her attractive.
Like with the Sonozakis, Karen has a hard time mentally associating all the freaky Hinamizawa syndrome business with the clearly-not-dead girl in front of her, and just accepts that none of it seems to "count." Which is not to say that she won't worry (read: freak out) about her when that time comes around again, since a) it's still scary to watch and b) what if this is the one time it doesn't reset?
