ONE. list your characters (journal names optional).
TWO. others reply with one of those characters or a pairing for you to write; platonic or romantic is up to you.
THREE. pick five cliché AUs from this list (complete with explanations!), and write something of any length - a sentence, a paragraph, a drabble, or a full-length ficlet, if you'd prefer - for each of those five AUs, involving that character or pairing.

deux. [fairytail]

This was not how England had wanted to go to the ball, and it sure as hell wasn't the way he planned on escaping from his evil stepmother, either.

Somehow being carried- or rather, dragged down the stairs by France's impatience to get him better clothes, the would-be prince went bouncing in a sour mood down the bumpy steps, yelling the whole way. When they reached the bottom, his rescuer nearly yanked him by his cape and shoved him out the door- insisting on fixing his hair and making him look decent for at least one woman to enjoy. It wasn't until they were outside did the crazy man clap his hands twice, and magic lit the air as England's outfit changed-

And Arthur nearly shrieked in horror as he noticed he was wearing the most horrendous ballroom uniform ever. When asked why he was told to wear this, France simply replied that it reflected his style and personality as a man. When there was another protest from the boy, France sighed, clapped his hands again, and changed the youth into wearing what he himself was wearing. This only brought more complaints and fussing, and a furious godchild suddenly tackled his supposed "fairy godfather" to the ground, dust kicking up and the both of them wrestling in the courtyard.

In the end, Arthur never went to the ball, and never met his princess. He was too busy trying to knock France's lights out and lost track of time, and therefore, his happily ever after. To this day, he still blames "that bloody failure of a fairy" for his misery in his life, despite there not being very much for him to be upset about after all.
