University Naesala/Rose
Naesala on the other hand was a different type of student. He still made good grades, but it seemed he rarely studied and he was constantly going to clubs and parties.
One would think that their paths would rarely cross at such a big college and with having different majors, she in astronomy while he in business, strangely that was not the case. They often had elective classes together, and as a result they often associated with the same people, much to Rose’s dismay. Naesala would often tease her in order to get a rise out of her and it was not uncommon for him to sit close to during class so that he can continue to annoy her.
Needless to say, Rose was reluctant to agree to go to a party at a friend’s house when she found out Naesala was going to be there. During the party she did her best to avoid him, but he still came over to her in order to needle and annoy her. As a result she ended up drinking in an attempt to block him out. Unfortunately she lost track of how many she had.
The next morning, she woke up in one of the bedrooms of the house, with a headache and little memory of what happened towards the end of the evening. It took her a while to realize she was not completely dressed, and there was someone else in bed with her. To her horror, the other in bed with her was none other than Naesala.
“Dear lord, what happened last night?” she asked out loud, which caused Naesala to wake up.
He stretched and opened his eyes. A smirk came to his lips when he saw Rose. "Well that was fun last night."
"I'm sure you thought it was," Rose replied as she tried to get her discarded clothes that were laying next to the bed. It annoyed her that she didn't remember, and he was starting to give the impression that he did.
"Oh come on, it couldn't have been that bad."
"I wouldn't know, since I don't remember," she said as she put on her clothes quickly, keeping her back turned towards him. There was no way she could meet his gaze now.
He chuckled at that. "Can't say that I'm surprised, but I have to admit, you are more fun once you have a few drinks in you."
She felt the heat rise up to her cheeks and was glad she was facing away from him. "I'm leaving." She grabbed her shoes and started heading for the door.
"I'll see you in class tomorrow," he called out behind her in an amused tone.
It wasn't until later that day that Rose started to remember bits and pieces of what happened. She hated to admit it but she knew she enjoyed it.
