With all this ruckus going on, I think we need to thinking about our CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS.

Mello thinks Spike is an interesting guy, which is about the best possible opinion he ever has on people right off the bat. He can tell their stories are alike in some ways because of the things they both know, and this makes him pretty curious. While he'd like to know more about Spike he already knows he's unlikely to give anything away easily, but to him, that's okay too. They'll get along. Also, they'll be over there in the 'only sane people'-corner, and he's pretty damn glad not to be the only one there anymore.

Hungary likes him. He stands out from the other people at DDD, which is something kind of remarkable since she hasn't formed much of any CR with anybody around. We already covered she doesn't mind cooking for him, and she likes his music. It's already clear that he's in trouble on a regular basis, but he seems capable enough of getting himself out of said trouble, too. She likes his wit, and I think he's going to go up a few more points too as they interact more.
