Mmyep! I'm deeply convinced that Shelly's British, so as soon as he realises who Arthur is, he'll be all... "whoa".

As for Arthur, uh... w-what does he think about assassins?

Haha nice. \o/

....Not much, actually. (Which is a point of contention that could also lead to interesting threads, I think. :>) Highly ethical character is highly ethical; Although I think his biggest problem with assassins isn't that they're contracted killers (although killing purely for money is pretty up there on the ire scale for him), but that they tend to kill in secrecy and do a lot of sneaking and hiding, which he see as being cowardly and deceitful.

Oh boy, Shelly's pride won't take insults like that. :B

Oh bugger. Provoking an assassin. XD

Ah, don't worry. Shelly's not the bloodthirsty type.

Always good to hear. This guy barely makes it through every week as it is. \o/

What does he do, for the record...? Does he get hired by clients in private, or is he more self-directed and political? :O

The former. He's a somewhat minor character in his canon, so there isn't much established about him, but what they DO drill into our heads nearly every time he's on-screen is that he highly values the trust between his client and himself. Most of the clients he chooses to work with were pleasant partners... with one exception (and according to canon, the only one to betray Shelly so far). Said exception is now fearing for his life with good reason.
