She had lived a long life and, as a result, there were many times Rose felt lonely. She should be used to it, but it does reach a point where she would take the company of anyone in order to make that feeling go away. Even if that anyone happened to be Naesala.

The thing was, once she was around Naesala, she got so annoyed that all she wanted was to be left alone again. Then, once she was finally away from him, it felt that things were too quiet. In fact, she could almost say that she missed him, though she would never admit that out loud.
