[He manages to get out of the way of that one, raising an eyebrow.]

I didn't think I was still that strong.

Still that strong? [of course Rubette isn't going to let conversation stop them in the middle of sparing and this time she aims to bop Zelgadiss on top of the head] You...seem...plenty strong already!

I used to have this... thing that enhanced my strength. Lost it a while ago.

[He ducks to the side and brings his own pillow up to block it.]

Oh...really? [she aims for his legs a bit more aggressively this time] Well...maybe it's for the best...there's nothing wrong with your strength.

I guess s- aah! [Ooh, lucky hit! She manages to knock his legs right out from under him.]

[She knows she probably shouldn't, but when Zelgadiss goes down she hops on over to give him a hand up.]

[He accepts the hand up... then bops her with his pillow.]

Nice shot.

[She accepts her bopping with grace, more or less, if you could call backpedaling and stumbling into a torrent of pillows graceful.

But she comes out of it alright with down feathers sticking out of her hair at odd angles. She's smiling anyway and she tosses one of the pillows at Zelgadiss aiming for his face.]

Just lucky I guess.

[He blocks the pillow with his arm and tosses one back at her, laughing.]

Oh...think that's funny? [she does the same with the pillow Zelgadiss tosses her way before climbing to her feet and wading through the pillows, laughing along with him] we'll just have to make one of these explode all over you then.

[Now she picks up two.]

[He grins and tries to get out of the way.]

Have to catch me first!

Ah...okay [looks around the room noting there's only so far Zelgadiss can run before she chucks one of the pillows in her hands at him] I mean...how hard could that be!

[The pillow clips him and throws him off-balance again, but he manages to recover and darts off to the side.]

You don't know the guy who trained me to fight.

You mentioned him once...I remembooo-woah [okay so she slipped on a pillow...these things might be a hindrance, but they don't stop her]...nn...I remember...

[Grins kicking the pillows out of her way as she advances, lobbing another pillow at Zelgadiss]...I guess I'll just have to see for myself what he taught you then.

[He ducks out of the way again, grinning.] Careful, Rubette!

[He wings another pillow back at her.]

Oh...you don't have to tell me [Scoops up another pillow and bats the one Zelgadiss threw at her away before looking around. With enough floor space cleared up Rubette takes one of those flying leaps at Zelgadiss, launching herself pillow first at him.]

[Zel grabs what hits him, and it isn't until the pillow bursts, showering him with feathers, that he realizes he's got his arms wrapped around Rubette.]

[It's not until the confusion and the feathers clear that Rubette realizes that the pillow wasn't the only thing he grabbed. Instinct says hit him but reason says this is harmless...though they're just a little close something that takes her off balance, but that's okay she'll just grab onto Zelgadiss.]

[He flushes a little and loosens his grip, letting her pull away if she wants to.]

Uh. Sorry.

[Rubette notices the loosened grip but not the release and for reasons unknown...though it's likely because she's feeling victorious, yeah, that's it...she doesn't mind.]

No, that's okay...you were trying to get the pillow right? [Plucks one of the down feathers off of Zelgadiss and waves it at him smiling] Guess this means I got you...sort of.

I guess so. It looks like you win.

[Of course, what her prize is is another matter altogether...]

[That is a good question...and since Zelgadiss isn't a pervert or a narcissist to the best of her knowledge then this prize is totally okay: she leans in and gives him a very brief peck right on the lips. A bold move, but hey, it's her terms.]

Mmm...my prize.

[He doesn't seem to react badly, though he does go bright red again.]
