HYPOTHETICAL RELATIONSHIP MEME
Have you ever wondered what it might be like if two characters got into a romantic relationship together? Would it work, or would it fall apart within the first month? Do you think they could be happy together in a long relationship, or would they ditch each other immediately after the fun was had? Well, here's your chance to think about it and find out what others think with some delicious TL;DR on the various hypothetical relationships, plausible or not.

...Not like that, but, let's say it happened. Greed would probably be utterly incapable of monogamy and would spend however much time it took convincing Issei that sleeping around is a GOOD thing. If he had to, he could probably hold out two to three months if he was serious about wanting to make Issei okay with polygamy (polyandry) first, but after that he'd have to break down and call it off. At least he's honest, so he'd not sneak around about it. He can be the jealous type but it'd be hard to trigger, unless it seemed it was losing tangible ground or interest to someone.

I can't speak for how Issei would act, but if he's feeling manipulative, Greed responds strongly to blunt, straightforward statements like "but xyz hurts me and makes me sad." So, physically it might never happen, but Issei's probably sharp enough to be the emotional top easily, just as long as he doesn't try to interfere with Greed's line of work... which I suspect he might have issue with, but Greed's willing to never talk about it if Issei is! Unless they got into a big fight, in which case he'd play up the "you're screwing a murderous criminal thief and you know it, so get off your high horse!" card, but by that points they're surely already headed to a breakup.

Issei would be hard to convince on that point, but as he's someone who tends to fall for/be interested in multiple people, it wouldn't be quite as hard as you might think... Does that mean it could possibly work, if nobody brought up the criminal thing?

It could! I don't know how long it would last but...

Issei would also have to deal with Greed's ho-me-phobia phobia. Expect him to heatedly deny being anything but perfectly openly bisexual while freezing and twitching like some skipping record when it comes time to start anything. After the start up, he'll be good to go but I suspect Issei would get annoyed when, six weeks into things, Greed still breaks into a sweat at the prospect of giving a hand job. But Issei would finally have something to harass Greed about!

That's certainly worth something! Even if Issei'd be annoyed at his not putting out, he'd love the chance to needle him and have it actually work.
