HYPOTHETICAL RELATIONSHIP MEME
Have you ever wondered what it might be like if two characters got into a romantic relationship together? Would it work, or would it fall apart within the first month? Do you think they could be happy together in a long relationship, or would they ditch each other immediately after the fun was had? Well, here's your chance to think about it and find out what others think with some delicious TL;DR on the various hypothetical relationships, plausible or not.

Aiiiighty then.

Birkin/Issei: Birkin would love having a more normal, not utterly batshit partner for a while, but he's very much an emotional masochist as much as he is a physical one, so while he would love Issei for being there for him and being the best chance he has for a good relationship, he'd probably get a little bored after not having someone to complain about and suck up to and apologize to after a while. So while he'd love Issei and the relationship and being fairly normal for a change, it probably wouldn't last long term because Birkin is really fucked up in the head. :T

Kid/Sherry: Kid, being Kid, isn't one for physical relationships, especially not with someone, like, 10 times younger than him, but he could totally have an emotional relationship with her guilt free, so it would seem more like a brother/sister sort of thing, probably. He'd be fiercely protective of her and would take care of her and would probably do everything in his power to get her assigned to the least dangerous missions possible. But at the same time, he would feel really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really awkward dating his teacher's sort-of step-daughter.
