✠ You're somewhere that you really don't want to be - an old mansion, a haunted hotel, an abandoned home. It doesn't matter. Maybe you've been there for hours; maybe days. The point is, you're stuck here, you'd really rather not be, and you've got a really bad feeling about this place. Maybe you're scared. You want to know something? You should be.
✠ This is a stereotypical horror movie splice. Comment with each of your characters; the thread-starter is the main character of the scene. You've probably got a weapon of your choice - guns, knives, a lamp you picked up; after all, what kind of idiot wanders around a creepy place like this without a weapon?
✠ Reply to others. The replier is your trusty partner who's been wandering with you; the damsel in distress character, maybe. The backstabber, or the kick-arse sidekick.
✠ Thread. What are you threading? Whatever you want. It's a collaborative effort. Make your own story.
                        e.g. a bit of mid-thread chaos;
                                                CHARACTER A: [peering around the corner]
                                                CHARACTER B: [suddenly, a zombie down the hall!] A, look out!!
                                                CHARACTER A: Damn it! [whips around and fires a shot into its head!]
✠ Get it? Good. It can be as eventful or uneventful as you like; full of banter, or action-packed; cracky and hilarious, or the most terrifying thing we'll ever read. Heck, if you want, invite a third character in to be the murderous villain of the story. Have fun, anyway. ♥
