Yes and no. It would have been a really useful way to get more detailed information, and he is irritated by the loss of that. But while he knows that it's a tactical blow...Carrion doesn't really enjoy pretending to be someone else, he looses patience with it pretty quickly. Keeping the act up was annoying, so he's kind of glad it's over with.
