1. You've Got A Friend In Me
She'd said she was going to bed and her pencil was already on her desk but still, she looked at the book. No one liked to see a friend sick but it was true that Kasumi probably just needed a little rest. It was just that she'd seemed so confused and with the headaches that she'd been having, Roze was worried it wasn't just a cold. All she could hope for was that Kasumi knew her offer was real and would ask for her help if she needed it. And if she did wake in the night wanting someone to talk to, Roze would be there for her. Until then, she'd try to sleep. Maybe she could talk her into going to the doctor in the morning.
2. Be Our Guest
Culver loved having guests over, even if he hadn't met them yet. Instead of playing nearby, he stood at Roze's feet, watching her take out the figs she would use to make jam. She'd promised Kasumi to bring some things found in Liore but she thought it best she try some of it first.
Even if her guest wouldn't be there for hours, she wanted to get started. When she did visit Japan, she looked forward to learning about their foods. It seemed like it would be fun, learning to make new dishes from a new land with a new friend. Yes, it was something she was looking forward to.
3. Heaven (Little By Little)

Once, when she really needed it, she'd found someone who represented strength. It was a rare occasion, to find someone like that but, recently, she'd found someone that could easily represent kindness. Sometimes it was to people Roze thought it was better she'd avoid but still, she was there, as kind as ever. She'd smiled as warmly when they'd first met as she would if they had been friends since they were children, had listened and invited her into her home.
Sometimes, in the darker times, she had doubts and fears. It was good to know that it wouldn't be long before she was talking to someone who could remind her about the good in people just by being herself.
4.) Happy Birthday To You
Roze thought it was safe to guess Kasumi was the kind who would buy for others before herself and that was why she needed to be careful in picking out a birthday present. She was confident she could pick out a dress she liked but she wondered if it would be enough.
Not that Kasumi would complain. Her friend was the kind to be grateful for gifts anyone spent the time to buy.
There was the possibility of getting both a dress and an apron. As she browsed, she idly wondered if she'd like something with a floral print...
5.) I Kissed A Girl (Please don't kill me)
It was a very strange way to meet someone for the first time. It had been nice, talking to her. Culver was a very big part of her life and it was nice being able to openly share it with someone, to have people who saw that, if nothing else, he himself was a blessing.
But then it, whatever it was, had decided they weren't moving fast enough. So, she had kissed her on the cheek. Maybe it was because she was more used to physical affection with children than with adults but she had expected it to be uncomfortable. Instead, she was happy to find Kasumi had managed to keep it from being so and she could look forward to the next time they were able to talk.

It made things seem better, looking at Liore. In a lot of ways, it reminded her of herself. There were still signs of everything that had happened, pieces that needed to be rebuilt, parts that would be forever changed. There had been so much work done and yet even still as much to do.
But it was getting better. Even if the war had torn down it's buildings and scattered it's people, they had all come back and were working together. Empty or mute, destroyed or broken, there was still a place for both Liore and Roze. They would work on getting better, and then they'd get stronger, and then they would move on with their lives.
Love You Forever
He was so little, sleeping in her arms. Even if he'd grown so much in the last three years, he still seemed impossibly tiny. Still, it was easy to imagine the day he'd be going to school, the day he'd be writing letters to a girl he liked, the day that she'd stop and realized her son was grown.
But it wasn't now and she couldn't imagine it changing very much. Even when he went from small enough to pack on her hip to taller than her, he would be baby.
3.) Permanent ((Oops, forgot to count))
It had been dark for what seemed like hours and she'd tried to rest but she'd found herself back here. Just that day he'd been lowered into the ground but even setting at his grave, he may as well have been miles away. She knew, in her heart, no matter how long she stayed there, he wouldn't get up to come with her. So, for just a few more minutes, she'd stay here with him.
4.) Fighter
He still didn't understand! How were they suppose to move into the future when their hope was gone?! They had nothing!
She didn't realize what he'd meant, how right he was, until she realized she was still on her knees long after he was gone. That had been her life after Kain had died: on her knees and waiting.
Standing up probably seemed like such a small step but she decided it was a step forward. From that day onward, she'd move forward, an inch at a time, until she was somewhere she wanted to be.
5.) Tom and Jerry Kids ((^^ Cause the others were too serious, blame it on York))
As soon as she'd heard heard about the horrible Tom and Jerry cartoon, she'd been mortified. People used that kind of thing as entertainment? Poor Tom needed help and Jerry should have been arrested for his behavior.
But then she had heard it was worse! They'd gone into child abuse! It sounded like Jerry had been hurting Tom ever since there were children! Abuse between adults was awful enough but child abuse was even worse!
She could only hope it wasn't based on a true story.
