"No, Ms. Matsuzaki," sighed the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, "once again, the cause would not be an earth spirit."

What a ridiculous, misinformed man! There was clearly more than enough evidence for her to be right; he just wanted to save face in front of his students! Wait until she told the Headmistress about this. He'd be out of Hogwarts so fast--that laughter. Ayako would know it in her nightmares. The one that had been a thorn in her side since they started school. Him.

She turned to glare at Takigawa--everyone called him Monk die to his calmness and friendship he had with his House ghost, the Fat Friar--sitting in the back of the room and grinning right at her. She glared (a right good Slytherin glare, she thought), and all he did was smile wider. One way or another, she'd get him back.
