➀ There's mistletoe everywhere. Everywhere. Your character is underneath it now.
➁ Once underneath it with someone else (a replier) they are stuck in place until they do one of two things: kiss or tell a secret about themselves.

➂ It doesn't matter who tells their secret, initiates the kiss, etc. Whenever it happens they're 'free'... Until the next incident.
➃ Do not try and destroy the mistletoe. It won't work and bad things will happen. (See: Burning, freezing, electrocuting, and biting. Yes. It bites. )
➄ This can happen multiple times to the same pair: Threadjacking, 'leaving and coming back', etc, can have the process repeat even if they've already done it before.

What's going on is bullshit! It's mistletoe, and there's this dumbass western tradition that— when you— there's— i-it's stupid as hell, you have to—

[ He didn't even have time to ask her why she was getting so flustered. One second, she was stammering over her words. The next, she pulled him down and their lips locked together, if only for a few moments. His eyes went wide. Come on, couldn't someone ever explain what was going on before doing this kind of stuff?

He forced his head back, breaking their connection, looking at her in disbelief. Though he could feel the numbness fade away from his feet, his mind wasn't exactly concentrating on that. ]

That— D-don't look at me like that! [ she immediately shoves at him and stumbles back a couple of steps. ] That's what it is, okay?! That's the tradition! You're not stuck anymore, so what's the problem?!

T-there's not a problem, it's just...jeez, you guys have some weird traditions, that's all. [ This was the last thing he was expecting, he could say that much. As he stumbled back, he took a quick breath, trying to regain his flustered composure. Well...it wasn't a bad kiss, but come on, how was a guy supposed to be ready for that? ]
