Housing assignments + surprise!

Okay, gang! Several hours and a frankly embarrassing number of papercuts gained while picking names out of a hat later, we have 25 houses randomly assigned for the Ski Resort Event.

To reiterate, each lodge comes equipped with a roaring fireplace, a cupboard full of board games, and a fully-stocked fridge. (You won't ever see the staff refill it, but rest assured, every morning it will be full again.) Also provided is a wardrobe full of warm clothes in each character's size, including coats, hats, scarves, and gloves. They might be in ridiculously bright colours and have patterns that look like bus seats, but at least they're comfortable! Characters will also find anything they can't live without in their rooms as well, like magic gems or medicine, so don't worry about that.

The houses have four small bedrooms, one bathroom, a large and comfortable sitting room with fireplace, and a mini kitchenette. The fridge has drinks from soda to beer to vodka (although alcohol rules from the open bar in the dining hall still apply) and various snacks and sandwich fillings etc. If you can think of it, it's probably in there.

Feel free to seek each other out and plot! Characters can visit each others' cabins, even sleep on someone else's couch if they can't stand their housemates, but all their stuff will end up back in their original room thanks to the helpful staff, no matter how diligently they try to move it over. Everything from coats to underwear to toiletries. Best to get to know your housemates, really!

I'll also take this opportunity to mention a surprise that a couple of you might have guessed at - on the Friday night, a massive snowstorm will knock out all power and heating! All guests will be therefore rounded up and housed in the main lodge, as per safety procedure. This includes sleeping bags, extra blankets, and amenities like hot chocolate etc. What this basically means is the last night of the trip is going to be spent in a huge communal sleepover! (Better stake out your floor claim for your sleeping bag and blanket and protect it, with more than a hundred DDD members here it's gonna be a bit of a squash, but at least it'll be warm....)

Umm... so, between being sick and just forgetting, I kinda forgot to sign up for the random assignments. Or make any plans for non random stuff. I this case, should I just assume that my three characters are roomed with non-community people or what?

Random House 9 (Ravage! Auron! Kano! Issei!) should get along decently well for a house containing a robot lolcat. At least, Issei and Auron will facepalm together.

Random House 14 (Kirika! Vanessa! Jak! Eater!) may be a bit more weirded out by one member of their party changing personalities and Kirika being... Kirika. Thoughts?

Random House 20 (Alviss! Perrine! Lancer! Michael!) will also be interesting. I know Michael and Alviss didn't originally get along...

Random House 24 (Anthy! Hiiragi! Zett! Celty!) will be interesting too! Zett and Celty can swap stories - there actually are Dullahans in his game and they're really high-level demons that can kick your ass - but I don't really know how they'd interact with the others.

So, Kirei's roommates are Sayaka, Hayate Yagami, and Tails. He's probably gonna be his brand of suffering adoring evil, but really subtle about it. Also he wakes up crazy early and causes snow ball fights with gil. Oh, and he pushes towards wishs. Anyone want some plotting, roomies? :D?

Also Kirei will probably be hideous in a tbd way during the blackout

House 3 with Michael Westen, Madoka, Ariadne, and Nagisa should be interesting! How do you girls feel about suspicious jerks in their early forties who wear Armani suits?

House 5 has Kyouko, Jason, Klavier, and Yukimi! I assume they will have the most frequently refilled fridge. And possibly coffee pot.

House 13 is hopefully not unlucky and has Masamori, Mai, Kaworu, and Jecht! So, awkward couple plus albino plus bitter guy. Should be fun.

HOUSE 11 (Izumi, Miharu M., Yuugi, Kouji) - S'UP GUYS. Yuugi will mostly be sitting in the cabin and playing games by himself and trying not to get in anyone's way, haha...

HOUSE 21 (Ferb, Miharu R., Utsuho, Masato) - Miharu is a pretty boring but irritable housemate, but he'll mostly be snowboarding and hanging outside all day.

HOUSE 25 (Minatsuki, Roxy) - oh my god Suki they're going to turn this into the party house in order to get food from other people aren't they

House 4 Pearl, Retasu, Leila, and Alexia. So um...Alexia might have some werewolves she'll need to deal with, so I hope you enjoy that. Other than that she'll be taking care of her little Prudence and being rather put out that she's been taken from home without permission yet again.

House 15 Kobato, Pretty, Sophie, and Scrooge. Sophie will be cripplingly shy and will probably not want to leave the room during any point in the trip....

House 16 Doc Scratch, Lyle, Rory, and Yuca. Rory will be pretty friendly with everyone...though probably a little suspicious of Scratch? I dunno. He really hasn't talked to the guy.

House 8: Gilgamesh, the Tenth Doctor, Ren Akiyama, and Nathan Explosion.

This house is sure to be... Interesting. For sure. In either case, Gilgamesh will be staking claim upon the couch near the fireplace for most of the day drinking his wine. He's from Mesopotamia and he likes his wine, okay. He's not going out into that unless he has something better to do (re: aw hale naw i'm not going into the cold) - and sometimes he will, which will involve: alcohol-related/fight-stirring shenanigans with Roxy and Minatsuki (who are gonna have to dry up for the duration), throwing snowballs at people from on high after he's gotten some liquid fortification in him (re: stirring up snowball fights between others with Kirei awye), a snowball fight with everyone's favorite priest after he decides to spare him (because Kirei), and probably harassing everyone related to the Grail. You're welcome.

At night, you won't be able to find him anywhere, unless he happens to be at the bar at the time. Instead, he'll be gladly re-materializing into Kirei's room late at night in order to have chats about their favorite topics - which usually involve kneecapping and information-sharing. uwu*

Similarly, he's going to be hideous while the power is out. So, enjoy that. I doubt this will end well for anyone. LMFAO.
