Now they've woken up in an unknown hotel room... next to the character who's commented to them. They're giant monsters. [She shrugs.] If they attacked here, you'd be in danger and I'd have no other choice.

Like I said, they're predators. They have no concept of good or evil, only the need to feed on despair.
