I DROPPED A CHARACTER SO I'D HAVE LESS JUST FOR THIS MOMENT
Since I brought him in from the manga, I try to stick to that for the most part. The light novel is longer and the manga was basically taken from it so I use a lot of the book's history to fill in the blanks. Sadly, they're not all translated but it gives us a good idea what his time with the prince was like, which is a large driving factor for Edgar.
The visual novel also gives us little side stories for Lydia and Edgar, so it's cute for that. The anime I try not to take anything from, though, since it adds nothing new and I'm more of a fan of the manga and light novels.
Not now you aren't!
Precuremagical girl or not, how happy would she end up being in general and howhilariouscompetent and awesome would she become? For once!
When it came to getting people she liked out of the way, she'd be awesome. She's a fast learner, after all.
xD To get a more hands on preview of this, Karen and Sena are switching bodies for the virus so that'll be a lot of fun!

How will Takiko's outlook change when she finds out she has a deadly disease?
Now that Nami is part of DDD, will she use the resources available o her to change canon in any way?

Warning: spoilers
You have to keep in mind that for Stanley, there was always a light at the end of the tunnel, whether it was he who could reach it or someone else. While in Troll Kingdom, he was good at not getting into altercations with the Bad Trolls, even if he screws up occasionally (the introduction secquence of the movie displays this clearly), and he always had his little garden with his beautiful flowers to look forward to.
He is caught, and if Gnorga had her way he would have been petrified and that would have been the end of that. But he got sent to Central Park instead, and despite his initial impressions it doesn't take him long to warm up to (and decorate!) the place. It helped that he made friends with Rosie and Gus.
He also survives Gnorga's efforts to destroy him until the final confrontation, where Gnorga compels Gus to stone Stanley before she succumbs to Stanley's Green Thumb and turns into a flower bush - but even then her attempt was in vain as Stanley gets revived by Gus anyway. He is understandably quite happy about that.
He then lives peacefully post-movie until the community, where he got exposed to both the Sailor Moon virus and the zombie mall event. But while those two events were very dangerous they also were a) temporary, b) didn't force Stanley to be alone, c) didn't take away any autonomy from him (even though the zombie mall nerfed him Thumb) and d) he did not personally witness death or horrific injury to anyone he cared about, nor did he suffer excessively. Then the water park, where he got to have fun! So, yeah.
Get rid of that light and his naivety and optimism will slowly die, though he'll never stop believing in dreams and that people can be good. It'd have to be a long time of nothing but bad things happening to good people, and quite frankly I'm not a terrible enough mun to inflict that on him. He's the lead of a children's movie. Sheesh.
tl;dr Yes, but I'm not letting that happen to him.

I'm on a superhero bender right now
If your characters found themselves in the position of being a mentor to at least one brand new superhero(ish) person, how good would they be at it, what would be the most likely outcome, and would they enjoy it?
Re: I'm on a superhero bender right now
Miharu: He's still getting used to being a Rider and coping with self-esteem issues and power woes. So he'd be extremely sympathetic to a younger Rider or a secondary Rider, especially if they used to be evil or got their powers from the bad guy or whatever. He'd encourage them never to give up and pass on the lessons he's learned from Eiji and from all of his friends here. He'd emphasize that it's okay to make mistakes and you have to in order to become stronger, that your greatest strength is overcoming your fears and finding courage. Even then, though, especially if this is a secondary Rider we're talking about, he'd be second-guessing himself a bit and wondering if he's helping or making things worse. But overall, it would turn out for the best.
Aqua: She'd probably be a pretty damn good mentor, to be honest. She's already very mature and accepting. She's learning well enough that things are not very clearly good-and-evil, and she'd advise students to keep that in mind. Overall, she'd remind them that the important part is trusting your heart and trusting your friends and being there for them, and while any students she'd have would inevitably get into trouble, she'd give them what they need to get themselves out of it.
Kendrix: In a way, she kind of is a mentor to Karone? But I think that even barring that, everything she's seen has given her some perspective, like with Aqua. But she'd emphasize the importance of researching and gathering information and not charging in half-cocked...only to pretty much do that herself if her successor or student is in danger. Based on the events of "Protect the Quasar Saber," I'd think she'd be a pretty hands-off mentor, if only because her team was one of the first to really make do without a mentor themselves. She'd answer questions, but really trust them to do it themselves.
Ren: He'd be a little bit of a trainwreck. Kind of like Miharu, he'd be second-guessing his own advice, but in private. And kind of like Kendrix, he wouldn't be super-active as a mentor. I see him more as the training type--more likely to criticize and help fight, but flounder a bit on the emotional aspect. But if his student needed help, he'd be there in a heartbeat and defend him immediately, so that would sort of balance things out? He'd complain about hating the job, but overall, I think he'd just hate that he's not good at it except for those few times when he can get it right. Overall, he's the one who needs a mentor.
Jin: Oh god. He's a genius and a nice guy, but oh god please do not let him around young impressionable people unless you want them to turn out like this (Seriously, they could be his children). And he'd love every second of the mayhem and be so damn proud.

Well, how would your characters react if literally everyone on Earth became a Precure or Dark Precure depending on attitude and deeds? Or at least something similar?

At her current canon point, I think it's safe to say that Setsuna would freak, because why are there so many no this isn't fair THREE WAS BAD ENOUGH i hate this world. A little later on, she'd probably think it's exciting.
Yuri would probably really hate this, because she takes her duty as a Precure very seriously and doesn't see it as a job just anyone can do. And one evil Precure was bad enough, thank you very much. So yeah, she wouldn't be a fan.
