TEST DRIVE MEME

1. Post a comment with the journal of a character you've considered apping. Nope! That's the thing: the brain surgery is for ME. I've got a bullet lodged in the back of my skull. Most doctors won't touch it. But if I pay the 100 million, I'll get the bullet out of my head from a very skilled professional who I know I can get the best treatment from.

Oh undoubtedly. It's still in a precarious spot, but eventually it will kill me, either from combat, blows to the head or just shifting a few inches.

Or the wrong polarity. [ Yeah, Weiss is totally thinking of someone she knows when she says that, but she won't mention it specifically. After all, Pyrrha wasn't exactly forthcoming about it and Weiss knows how to keep a secret at least relatively well. ]

You really shouldn't be giving free care if you've got a preexisting life threatening condition that you need to pay for. It's no wonder you haven't been able to yet.

It's totally fine! Considering the situation I'm in, a little goodwill doesn't hurt. Besides, I have a very prominent paycheck coming with each Yummy I defeat.

Maybe not if you're trying to show off as a philanthropist, but if you're not in a position where 100 million is easy, then you don't really need to do that.

A Yummy is a monster that feeds on greed, and grows stronger building up cell medals. For every Yummy defeated, they drop cell medals which I gather up and bring to my employer.

So if you did charge for these services, it'd be greedy and it'd just feed the enemies that you're trying to get the medals from in the first place! Why didn't you just say so?

The more dangerous of greed is giving into it, rather than making funds for yourself or doing whatever you might consider greedy. But it's the Yummies that are taking advantage of it, and the Greeed that control em.

If that's what fuels them, how do you fight them?

Pure violence ojou-chan! I use a suit of superpowered armor to fight and defeat them, utilizing the very power that created them in the past: Cell Medals. It's Kougami's idea of fighting fire with fire.

So the same thing we do with the Grimm. Are you a hunter in your world?

Ah, we're Riders but I think the same idea is behind it. I gather up the dropped medals anyhow, so I'm sort of a banker in a way as well.
