- Post a comment with the characters you play.
- Offer constructive criticism/help with characterisation/etc to other players. If all you have is praise, try to be specific as to what you like about the character - "I love the way ____ handled ____, it seemed really IC" > "YOU'RE AWESOME AND ILU". Try to save that for the love meme. :]
- On that topic: This is neither love meme nor anon meme. The word for the day is constructive where possible, and any malicious or intentionally hurtful comments can and will be removed. Be civil and your point is much more likely to get across! <3
- Not mandatory, but highly encouraged. We won't force you, but the more people that participate the better.
- Anon commenting is on, but please don't abuse it.
GO GO GO.

The way you post your canon updates is "this happened, this happened, and this happened," with pictures and cuts, and...it's kind of hard to interact off of. And it's especially hard with a character with mostly nonverbal means of communication, like Kirby.
Take a look at these two posts you did, within ten days of each other:
http://dramadramaduck.dreamwidth.org/6315468.html
http://alldevouringabomination.dreamwidth.org/862.html
They look very similar in terms of content, even though the events themselves have updated. It's "Look, stuff's happening." It might have been before you got here, but there was once this suggestion going around asking us to lighten up on the accidental video posts of the canon updates, since it was ending up very samey, and it doesn't always offer a lot to respond to. To me, at least, these posts look like "Kirby's doing something and is really too busy to interact with people regarding things going on as they're shown," since it's all "Kirby will respond after."
Contrast two other types, one done by Clove here, where she's telling everyone about the update and directly interacting, or one of my own posts with Jin, a video post where he's admittedly probably watched too much Cloverfield or other shaky-cam monster movies. Both invite interaction, which is a sense I find lacking with Kirby's updates lately.

Are you talking about this post? The one where the mods forbade the usage of embedded video? Or am I missing something here?
I transcribed the canon updates not just because of that rule, but I was trying to show, not tell, people what was happening, context for Kirby's adventures. Believe me, I would like for people to not only comment on what he's doing, but even worldhop over and mix it up. Besides, this is only the beginning of Triple Deluxe; there's plenty of time to differentiate the posts by say, Kirby finding something he wishes to share with the community, or getting into a tight spot, or even hopping over to another world and helping someone out, letting them know what he's been up to.
Also, stuff is happening. He's not loafing about or sleeping, he's fighting, collecting MacGuffins, and discovering new things. Would it help if he noticed the community recorded what happened, and others may respond?

While it's good that you're trying to explain what's going on in Kirby's canon updates, it still comes off as simply listing a series of events, rather than inviting others to respond to Kirby. These posts read like "Kirby's doing this, this, and this and doesn't notice people trying to interact with him." There needs to be more variation, especially kinds that will appear more inviting to other players.
For example, in the second post, you could have Kirby come across the Miracle Fruit and look at it and seem to ask the community if they think it's safe to eat. Even so, you don't need to summarize every power-up that he gets--we can safely assume that power-ups are happening and items are being grabbed. Unless it's something important in the context of the story, it's not something you have to worry as much about.

I do realize I've been exceptionally slow lately. I've dropped some characters until RL slows down, in hopes that will help.

Apologizing already if I've been taking a while to tag back. Work has been kicking my ass this summer.

I apologize for my slow reply to this, as I didn't quite notice it until now..and I apologize or any slow replies on my end RP-wise. Sometimes it takes a little while to see how Legato would reply to something..or to get my drive to work.
