Three years in December.

Back when I started someone had contacted me on AIM. They wanted me to RP as Maraich with them, which at the time I was a little uncomfortable with. I went ahead and gave it a try.
I had only ever RPed AD&D before, so RPing in fandom or on Livejournal was completely new to me. By chance I clicked on their journal and noticed they were part of DDD, so I took a look. I had no idea what applications were or anything at the time and the whole process was completely confusing because there were a bunch of different communities for the same place.

I ended up joining after posting before I made an app (oops). At the time I wasn't aware of a few things and was willing to let people get away with more RP faux pas, so it was a pretty rough beginning. The people I was associated with also weren't very well-liked at DDD because of some of the plots they pulled.

I ended up sticking around and got to socializing with different people, and as time went on I looked more into Maraich to settle on a more consistent personality based on various chapters of the series.

I've stuck around because of the various CR I've enjoyed with Maraich and, as you know, a few of the amazing plots we were able to pull off. I look forward to setting up more plots in the future.
