Ggio's my favorite, obviously, since he just comes so easily to me. Though some things I've done impulsively haven't had the best results, but he's still a joy to play a year later.
I generally love any character when I'm logged in and tagging as them, though Ggio and Mashiro come to me more easily than Mukuro and Link when I played the latter. It's still hard for me to get the motivation to start tagging as other people besides Ggio, and I'm hoping I'm getting better at switching off to someone else.
In the past, it's always been Phoenix, but I'm having a lot of fun playing Devit right now. He's coming to me much easier. His reactions to everything are exaggerated, whereas Phoenix often holds back or makes commentary in his head (which is nearly impossible to show in a journal-based setting XD;). I guess because my own moods have been fluctuating so much lately it's easier to identify with an emotional character like Devit. :|a
On average, though, it's definitely Phoenix. It's fun playing the straight man and a (sometimes unheard) voice of reason in a game of pure insanity. XD
Italy is kind of the current favorite, and I guess it's got to do with the fact that he's the most fun of my three characters, kind of. Like, he can be as silly as all get out, but serious when he needs to be, where the other two are kind of stuck in serious mode a lot of the time.
It also helps that Italy's the most social of the three. He loves talking, even to people who think he's a moron (hence the poststalking, Azula). And he's also the most open and willing to make new friends, where the other two have weird trust issues. (Dammit, I almost wrote "tryst issues")
But the favorites thing seems to switch back and forth. V was the favorite right before he blew up, and will likely earn himself more love when he comes back. And Dumbledore will probably be the favorite again when he canonically gets stuff to do. Seriously, in OOTP the man has nothing huge to do until freaking March.
I love playing all my characters, but Rose is my favorite, mostly because I find it easier to get into character with her. Also I've been playing her the longest, so I'm a bit attached to her.
Sari I like to play whenever I'm in a goofy mood or need cheering up.
Togusa. Death is too much work. (My favorite of all time is the Major, though I don't play her at this game actually secretly I am also Tophie mua ha ha.)
Ghost in the Shell characters are smart and come from a logically consistent universe, which is my favorite general character and setting type to play from. I like the GitS setting in specific and the questions it raises about the nature of humanity and society.
Togusa's the moral center of the show and the character that really unifies the various themes of the series. He's also the canon punching bag, and playing that is a lot of fun.
I love all of my characters, but Giselle has always been a favorite of mine. Mainly just because she's so happy and friendly. When I have bad days, it's always cheering to come back to DDD and play Giselle with all of her friends here. She can make even the darkest situation look hopeful, which is something I envy in her, so just pretending to be that does my heart good.
Of course Chibiusa's reaching her slowly with all of her adorableness. XD
Well, ever since I picked him up, England's been my favourite to play. :'D Mostly because I've never played a character who was this outwardly cranky or as capable of being a bastard when they want to be as England is, so it was a fun and refreshing change from the outwardly dorky/derpy nice guys I usually play. |D Also, I am a history geek, and playing England means I get to find out and use crazy amounts of stuff.
Also? It's kind of really fun thinking about and expanding on the Hetalia concept. Like, matching up bits of English history with just why England as a character is the way he is is just. Really interesting to me. And trying to reconcile bits of this history with his personality and heeee I'm a geek and I love doing it. ^^; Also? It's hilarious fun playing someone this tsundere, which I've never really done before. 8D
THAT SAID, I also tend to favour, at different times, Ten for the crazy Time Lordy fun and because I can do anything with him pretty much, so he's really versatile for plots, Pearl for being cute and because I think it'll be interesting trying to depict her growing up, and Lyle because... well, he's Lyle and ilplaying him, I need no excuse. :|
... come to think of it the only one I never show favouritism towards is Alle, sob.
Langly is my strongest muse. He came out of the blue and proceeds to be my most sociable one of the three I play. I think it's also because I can connect with the paranoid geek on many levels and that I had a love for X-Files and his team since the show first aired. Yet, I love to play all three for various reasons.
Mello will probably always be my strongest muse, no matter who else I app. He's among my favorites, but considering how much these vary I can't really ever pick one.
I like playing Nate when I feel like teasing people, Jin if I want to be a real prick to everyone and feel like keeping my *real plans* from everyone else a secret~, and Rock pretty much every other time. |D
Wesker and Adachi are right up there. Adachi at the moment because of canon moving and getting to be a dick to everyone. Depends what I'm doing with them. I like playing Wesker either for the crack (lol see THROWING BIRKIN INTO THE SEA) or when I want to monologue about stuff. I quite enjoy writing those monologues, lmao.
I like Excalibur for trolling and I like Aizen sort of for the same reasons as Wesker and also for snark with Byakuya. I just wish Aizen had more to do, which is down to me but dammit, he's too... reactionary.
And an edit! To say that for Wesker, his kind of fucked up evil is the kind where he knows he's being a dick but he thinks he's at least got a good reason for doing it. Whereas Adachi just does it because he can. He doesn't care. And I like playing those two similar but quite different sides.
He's a really charismatic guy |D He's the kind who would talk to everyone no matter what the situation is, and although that's somewhat draining for me to tag so much, it's a lot of fun. He is capable of having all sorts of differing amounts of chemistry between cross-fandom characters (some of my favorite CR is with people he loathes) and he's able to adapt to any situation. He's resourceful, intelligent, intuitive, and yet has that perfect touch of derpy goofiness that I can play with.
Vimes. Yes, already. Because he's Vimes. I honestly wrote a college application essay on why I love him.
I'm also really enjoying Gesicht, though. He's one of the hardest muses to work with I've ever had, but that makes him all the more rewarding. I love so much about him, his thoughtfulness, how essentially kind he is, and the philosophical questions I'm looking forward to getting to with him.
Then there's the fact that conversations with Batou tend to be really fun, and I love being able to show a lot of his personality. Also I have the most amazing canonmates, I love you guys. ;_;
And Robert's snarky doses of sanity can be very refreshing, and Amy's Giselle is such love...
So I love them all.
For the record, all time top muses are Orlando and Bourne.
I try to be even with them but I know I'm not >>;;;
My favorite is probably Matt, hands down; then Dietrich. I feel the most comfortable with them anyway -- and Grimmjow shouldn't even be included because he's a default comfort... muse pest. what.
It depends on my mood. I used to say Joker, but lately Emo and Ryan have been my favorites. Sulu is fun to play when I want an "average" perspective, and I'm super fond of playing HAL9000 here whenever I want to be ~scientific~ or whatever.
I hope to play Harry more, though, because he's my "grumpy" character. I needed one really badly.
