☉ so. we have memes about "what kind of Pokemon are you?", but this one is a little different.
☉ tell us (and discuss with others!) what your characters would be like if they lived in a Pokemon world. what types do they train? what do they specialise in?
☉ not everyone is your average trainer! there are Gym Leaders, Elite members, contest coordinators, etc. and even just those average people who don't care for Pokemon - or are absolutely terrified of them.
☉ there are lots of other interesting facts you could share! maybe they travel with someone else, or maybe there's an interesting bit of history you want to inculde? whatever you'd like! feel free to comment around and create some sort of... huge group of trainers that travel together. or find yourself a rival!

Kaworu's origins are unknown, though there mutters about him through Kanto, Johto, and Sinnoh. He's something of a wanderer. Never really resting here or there, what little is known about him is that he's exceptionally observant. Able to seemingly empathize and understand pokemon and people, he has a tendency to make a strong impression on anyone he permits himself to get closer to - or vice-versa. He's commonly sought out to figure out "behavioral issues" in pokemon, and often times he ends up turning it on their trainers. In some circles, he's believed to be able to communicate with them like they were a human. However, outside that - people don't know what to really make of him. Intelligent and polite, but he seems to lack common social skills (as usual). Nothing is really known of his past, and he's not speaking on it. What little people have tried to drag out of him, he's subsequently evaded or dodged. There are rumors that a few very select individuals know something of his past, but they're not prone to speak on it, either - not usually. They don't know enough.

He is known for traveling with two others - but it seems that sometimes he gets separated from them. They have different goals, understandably. Either way, he's never really consistently with anyone else. Occasionally he will get yelled at over his PokeNav if he's out attempting to assist someone who has bumped into him, but no one seems to have caught more than her name, yet. Generally, he's just as mysterious and seemingly inhuman as always. No one seems to be able to find him unless he expects to be found, and that has a tendency to weird people out.

Rumor has it that he was actually a part of Team Rocket, but no one has been able to really satisfy them. No one seems to be able to believe them enough to pursue them anyway, even if they are true. He was orphaned as a child, experimented on, and brought up in Team Rocket's facility under Giovanni, but he was able to break free from the organization - though he almost lost his life in the process. It's said that there's a boy that he risked his skin for - betraying the entire team because without his interference they would have assimilated him into the organization and he would have ended up like him. Though, there are other rumors - stranger ones. That that boy's father is the lead of one of the opposing organizations - but that can't be right, right? :>

In either case, Kaworu is known for his rather eccentric team. He doesn't force his pokemon to remain in their pokeballs, and for it they're very prone to following him around outside them. His Gardevoir, however, is always out and they've formed a close bond. Gardevoirs are also known for their martyr-like personalities, and for it it's really no wonder why they're so close.

Alongside this, Kaworu keeps this team, usually: Ninetails, Milotic, Eevee, Swablu, and Espeon. Occasionally he'll switch out for an Absol. In a lot of ways, Kaworu has an obvious slant toward psychic-types or those which can use psychic-type attacks. However, there is more reason for that than his empathy and his psychokinetic abilities.

According to Bulbapedia:

Ninetails is described as a pokemon with exceptional intelligence and rumored longevity. They're said to be able to control the minds of other people and place curses on those who harm them. While this is not something Kaworu would advocate at all - Ninetails can also wield ghost/psychic attacks because of their mythological origins in kitsunes. They're also apparently able to understand the speech of humans, like Gardevoir. However, it can't communicate telepathically like they can. His Ninetails, I should say, is also shiny. It looks something like a ghost because of it. The color palette for shiny Ninetails is silver with red eyes. This one also reminds him of someone. It's a little more tsundere than usual. :>

Milotic is said to be empathic, as it takes away feelings of negativity and soothes people (seeing a pattern?) - it obviously mirrors a lot of psychic-type pokemon in this way. They also dislike fighting/conflict and tend not to battle. Something that Kaworu tends to avoid, too.

Eevee is obviously known for a gene that allows it to evolve in many different fashions. It represents in a way, choice and change. And they're also extremely adaptable (see: resilient like people). So, you can see why Kaworu keeps one. It also reminds him of that boy he risked his skin for, but no one needs to know that. This Eevee tends to stick close by him and is really timid. :>

Swablu is known to be very musical and very organized. Kaworu obviously is very musically inclined himself - and needs all the help he can get with some aspects of organization. Swablu keeps track of his PokeNav for him, lmfao. Swablu also tend to sit on the heads of people, and Kaworu's Swablu is often found there. :|b

Espeon is actually something of a sunbather and fiercely loyal. Beyond the psychic abilities, you can probably see why Kaworu's fond of it. fff.

Absol is the other he sometimes switches out for - and they're also known for their exceptional intelligence and their ability to predict natural disasters. :>

It should also be said, that Kaworu is typically believed to be something of a weak trainer because he doesn't battle often. However, when people can convince him to battle for sport or if something is on the line that he wants to protect, he's actually extremely skilled. Kind of like Ten, people get a nasty surprise when they face him. However, he's never boastful of his abilities and tends to lend items to trainers for healing their pokemon after. |D;;

Lmfao. For some reason, I just got the mental image of Asuka heckling him to battle her while he's absently grooming his Ninetails because that thing has a crazy amount of fur. And Kaworu's just like: "It is better to battle later. There have been rather peculiar reports of bad weather." (see: Absol, sob)

So, basically he has the most annoying team ever. :|b

His Gardevoir actually started out as a Ralts. When he was still in Team Rocket's facility, he was given this one in particular to test out his psychokinetic abilities and otherwise potential. His Ralts was orphaned like he was - but how or why is kind of up in the air like Kaworu. In either case, as Kaworu was not allowed to interact with more than very select people (see one or two at most), his Ralts became his only friend for a great number of years. Because of the experimentation, Kaworu was very sickly as a child and that added to their reluctance to let him out. It was only on his fifteenth birthday that he was permitted to leave - and by then his Ralts had evolved into a Gardevoir. They made a formidable team, and they were very satisfied with their progress. His Gardevoir is subsequently very protective of her trainer, and most of the time he seems to have to reassure her before anyone can get close to him. She seemed to be a little jealous of the two he travels with. At least, initially. She's warmed up to them by now. With some reluctance. :|;

Once he was out of the facility and running with Team Rocket, it didn't take him long to lead a faction of it. Seventeen of them in all, they became known as the "Messengers" as they often brought with them the direct word of Giovanni. Kaworu was the infamous 17th, and normally those who faced them never got past the 11th. However, during this time, when they were resting in Lavender Town, one of the grunts keeping guard woke him up after running back to the group. Scared witless, he reported that there was some kind of apparition haunting the town's tower, and it wouldn't let him get anywhere near it. Kaworu, being the lead, told him he would investigate. What he ended up encountering was his Ninetails - due to his empathy and his understanding of Pokemon, he understood why it was she was guarding the base of the tower. It turned out that quite some time ago, her family was taken from this spot and she was endlessly waiting for them to return. Kaworu had to gently explain to her that they were not coming back, and he had no intentions of harming her - but, what fondness and attachments she had were nothing to be replaced. Angered, she actually attempted to lay a curse on him - but his Gardevoir intervened. Unfortunately, she could not be soothed and for it, a battle ensued. After she was defeated, Kaworu offered to tend to her wounds. However, her pride damaged, she insisted she actually be left alone. It seemed his Gardevoir got through to her, however - and she finally permitted herself to be treated. After that, she left. It wasn't until two nights later that she appeared again, and told him that she would be joining him. And that is how Kaworu got a hold of a shiny Ninetails.

In his fourth month of leading this little faction, there were whispered among the group that threatened to turn Kaworu out. There were rumors that he went too gently on those they terrorized - so much so that he actually let a child and her rare pokemon get away instead of taking it from her. Naturally, he was interrogated. Kaworu, being known then as strictly "Tabris", told them that their mission was his own, but it didn't seem to convince them. This argument continued for a great number of days, particularly when they were resting by the Lake of Rage - until one morning the arguments stopped. Suspicious of the sudden resolution they seemed to reach, Kaworu waited along the shore as that is where they had all come back from. There, he found a Milotic a good ways out. Understanding why it was there, Kaworu told it it need not have assisted him. However, the Milotic seemed to see through the coldness that had stolen over him and it became clear that it desired to battle him. To prove that he could it's trainer. Kaworu agreed - and in his winning of the match, he acquired his Milotic. :>

In the sixth month of leading the group, they had made quite a name for themselves. Across a number of districts, there were calls to take them down and bring them to justice. Unfortunately, no one seemed to be able to cause them much trouble - outside a faction called "Eva", though their origins and their organizers were unknown. It was in this month they actually lost three of their members - two to unknown circumstances and one to a shameful defeat by the hands of "Eva." Some concerned for their own safety started to train harder - but Kaworu seemed to expect this. And he did. He had heard whispers as a child that there was a faction being built up. He would be destined to one day bump into the boy whose father ran it, as their ideals clashed. Even so, it was in this same unfortunate month that he ran into his Absol. However, instead of a natural disaster occurring, it seemed to warn him of what was to come. Understanding the omen, as it was injured when he happened upon it, he took it into his care.

What was to follow was the systematic picking off of his faction. By the tenth month, it was only himself, Armisael, and Arael that remained. In this month, Kaworu's sleep became disrupted. Under strain of their worry, though he never displayed it in his waking hours, it was with a kind of mercy that a Swablu decided to sing to him in one of the forests that they were traveling through. Grateful, he offered it food and hummed for it music - and it ended up that this little fellow was actually kicked from the nest quite early. Hoping he would supply it sustenance, the Swablu was not mistaken. And so, that is how he got a hold of his Swablu.

In the eleventh month, one night, both Armisael and Arael were picked off in a very dangerous battle. While they took out two from the opposing faction - it left one to be contended with. Alone, Kaworu waited for the last one to appear. However, what he did not know was that Armisael and Arael had called for back-up.
