(no subject)

THE THESE ARE MY CONFESSIONS MEME

Does your character have a deep dark secret that they don't want out? Well, too bad. Something has just forced your characters to reveal their inner most secrets, true identities and even elements of their own past that they've tried to forget. What shouldn't be known is suddenly known. What shouldn't be said is suddenly exclaimed.

Not canon unless both parties agree!

No one can lie in a thread, you lack the capacity to. All confessions are truthful and sincere. It's uncontrollable what you say to a person.

I'm surprised you haven't said that before now.

I don't think I remember it; generally you progress straight to yelling at me, at least recently.

[identity profile] unluckychimera.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
At least because I'm not smart enough to keep my nose out of other people's business.

[identity profile] unluckychimera.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
You know, being smug about it really doesn't help.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 12:09 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not being smug, I'm telling the truth.

[identity profile] unluckychimera.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 12:10 am (UTC)(link)
Saying "exactly" when someone admits to a weakness sounds like being smug to me, whether it's the truth or not.

Believe it or not, the two aren't mutually exclusive; you can be right and still be smug.

[identity profile] unluckychimera.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
I'm touchy? At least I only log off in a huff after you've told me to. I'm surprised more people aren't touchy after dealing with you for this long. Or is it that you only bother to be polite to people you like?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
I'm polite to people who deserve it.

[identity profile] unluckychimera.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
And maybe I'm usually nice to people because if I'm not I'm afraid I'll end up like you.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
You think I care that most people don't like me? You think I care that I don't have a million friends?

[identity profile] unluckychimera.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
No, I don't. That's the problem.

Here's a hypothetical question for you. Suppose you're in a strange town. You hear that something you've been looking for for a long time might be hidden in a temple in the town. The trouble is that there are quite a lot of temples, but they're all disused, all the entrances sealed off, so there's no way to know for sure that it's even there. What do you do?

[identity profile] unluckychimera.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
Not as ridiculous as you might think. Answer the question.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
I'd look! I'd break in; I'd find it!

[identity profile] unluckychimera.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
Really? You'd break in? To every temple if you had to?

[identity profile] unluckychimera.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
[smiles grimly] I'm not surprised. That was what I did.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 12:35 am (UTC)(link)
It's what any driven person would do.

[identity profile] unluckychimera.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 12:38 am (UTC)(link)
Got called a demon for it. One of my friends had to fight me to get me to stop.

[identity profile] unluckychimera.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
Even when one of the only friends you have at that point has to fight you to stop? Even when that's not what you're actually there for?

oh ho ho
