Tendon Kasumi. Please feel free to ask anything. Really.

Will Kasumi be restarting the Nice Club now that she's returned?

...way to make me pause there, Greed-bb-san |D. I was expected-- not this question. In any case, it's complicated. If Kasumi had returned with all of her memories the Nice Club would be back up and running in an instant. However, she doesn't, currently, remember her previous activities. Until she gets her memories back coughJulycough, the Nice Club will not be surfacing.

How would Kasumi deal with having to be separated from her family for a long period?

Not Very Well. Her family is her life; she's pretty much defined herself by their needs since she was eight years old. The community, however, is helping to drive a wedge between her duties and her capability to complete them, and thus forcing Kasumi into some state of independence. Step Number 2 on my Kasumi Plan is actually separating her from her family for an extended period of time, by her own violation. I will (hopefully!) be setting this Plan in motion rather soon <3.

If she was suddenly forced out of her house and was unable to return at this exact moment, she would be devastated. In the immediate sense she'd find some way to busy herself, not think about it, and end up breaking down if anyone pushed the issue. A gradual withdrawal would be different: say, if she met someone and got married, or actually listened to Nabiki and went to college. She wouldn't move far away from her family, though, no matter what her reason for leaving. Kasumi would go back to the dojo and check up on her family forever and ever and look after Ranma and Akane's chaotic children and take care of her Father in his old age.

But I have't answered your question. If Kasumi were unable to see her family for a long time, she would be very, very sad. She wouldn't cry or wallow, but she would be more subdued than usual and attempt to mother everyone in the vicinity. There would be so much food. SO MUCH. It would be everywhere, and everything would be so clean you could eat off of it. Never a dirty shirt, either. Or pants, or undies, or... you get the idea.

What would it take for Kasumi to flat-out scream at Ranma?

[identity profile] heavenly-home.livejournal.com 2011-06-10 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
...I read that as 'throw a flat screen at Ranma'. Please excuse my brain. Personally, I've wondered much the same thing. I don't know if it's possible. Kasumi is so mild that it would take a catastrophic event, like the complete destruction of the Tendou house or the death of a loved one, to get her riled up. I just don't think it's in her to shout at any one, even if she felt all the rage in the world. She tends to block out the bad things in her life and accept things as they come. To have anger develop behind her defenses... By Kasumi's standards, I'd say breaking her sister's heart for real or the outright, intentional destruction of her room/kitchen would warrant a very thorough scolding.

So. If Ranma ever destroys the world on purpose, Kasumi would yell at him. Nothing much else would do it.

Well, clearly, he would have to be hacking for Kasumi to throw a flat screen at him.

No, wait, it's a CRT monitor for HAAAAAAAAAX!

Why is Kasumi such a sweetheart?

[identity profile] heavenly-home.livejournal.com 2011-06-10 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I will be cheesy and state the easy answer: she has too much love in her heart. It's either give it away or explode into sugar and spice♥.
