This time around, because I am a crazy languages freak, my question to you, good citizens of DDD, is... What languages do your characters speak/understand?

I would assume if like the nations met/know each other that they know the language of the other nation. But not at first sort of like learning the language/culture/whatever it is?

I don't know if that makes sense, but it's how I see it.

That's an awesome way of seeing things! But idk, I think it depends on the nation... Like say, if that was true for every nation then England would know a fuckton of languages, but as we English have a reputation/stereotype for being completely shit with them/not caring, I've tried to reflect that by cutting back on how much he can actually speak of them. XD Like I said down there, his understanding is often much better than his speaking ability, rofl.

But idk, that was just me trying to reflect stereotypes. I DO NOT KNOOOW. ;A;

HE'S JUST CRAP WITH LANGUAGES OKAY. And okay, maybe with most other languages he doesn't care, a little bit. Perhaps. His accent is terrible and he stumbles over a lot of the words 8D BUT HIS UNDERSTANDING IS FINE sob.
