Okay. Tails can world-hop and even if Ven can't really give directions, he should be able to figure it out.

He's used to it though. After all, Sonic doesn't drive airplanes anymore.

As far in the games go, I don't think so. Fun fact: The original Tornado that Tails used in the early games used to belong to Sonic. Most people think he built that, but that's not the case.
